JON - What does it mean that we will be sealed to the Fathers? Are the Fathers by Dispensation, like Father Adam, Father Noah, Father Moses and Father Joseph Smith. I know that has a different meaning than sealing ourselves to our parents and so forth. Can you tell what it is and is it written somewhere to study?

JOEL - "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord:
"And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse" (Mal. 4:5-6).

As far as I know being "sealed to the Fathers" means just what it says; that all children can and should be sealed to their immediate and ancestor fathers and ultimately to everyone else on this earth who obtain exaltation. Being sealed means that we all belong to God's one big patriarchal family in heaven, which includes the fathers of the dispensations.
